I was talking to Canned beef and I told him to make videos of him doing what he does best(PK high lvls) and he said he would. Just thought I would tell everyone how the "top" pker works, so you can avoid him hehe. I think his website would be pretty cool. How many ppl have bit the dust because of him on these forums?
i used to see him all the time when i played frozen_anna before she died (not to him however), seems like a really nice guy.

He got starzia so I didn't have anyone to level with and went on a suicide mission.
Just as well...I've had more fun playing untwinked chars on classic than I had doing ~100 baal runs a night =/

I rarely public in hell but I did so last night with my 87 druid. I had no idea who this guy was. I think the game was to help ancients or something. I even gave loot to him.
I went down the ancients wp and started fighting... I msg'd people to come down and help then I get the hostile. I didn't exit because I wanted to tp to town... next then I know I see a holy freezed barb WWing towards me... I esc exit and return. Seems like this guy is a prick from what I could tell of his mannerisms.

About the sorc pk, he told me he almost died trying to get her ear. And he doesn't have a link yet. But If I get one, I well linkage you.
All i can say is that i hope he hostiles my hammerdin while I have a nice circle of hammers spinning around my head when he takes the waypoint.

He was hostiling in ancient games last night. Another sorc and I were doing the ancients. The other sorc had got one of his friends to help, it was someone from these forums (DarkLordVader) a necro. Then a zon and the zon had a bo barb. So he comes in and hostiles right before we are about to do the ancients. We make a passworded game...and somehow he got in there...needless to say we never got to do the ancients.
I would think a well decked out level 80+ Fireball sorc could dust the beef. Or for that matter a good Spirit Necro. Really surprised someone hasnt built to trap and kill him yet. Someone said he used chicken on a thread earlier though, so maybe he cant be killed.

A team of at least 2 (Prefably 5) Sorcs, a necro and a pally would take him down so fast.
A few Sorcs spamming blizzard, frost orb, Hyrdras, Meteors, firewalls, fireballs while the necro casts lower resist and the pally uses conviction. He would be dead before the screen loads.
Same thing with 3+ hammer pallies all with high level hammers. If they are good pallies, thats 12,000 damage hammers. In Pvp terms, thats 2,000 life per hammer. Now multiply that by 3 (6,000 damage life taken per hammer). The barb wont get far before he dies.

First, I doubt he would ever try running after this many people
Nor would he wish to attept a kill around oblivs
He will simply WP kill or duel IMO as most other scenarios other than small games are to threatening. In general most PKs do thier acts with minimal or no chance to die.
One other note that some peeps tend to not recignize. Pk/duelers dont blindly make these characters. They know exactly what other buidls can do and exactly what will kill them. Yes there are idiots all over, but dont ever underestimate one of these guys.
Also, even if 7 ppl decided to fight him and he actually stayed long enuff to die I am willing to bet it wont only be his ear on the floor but a few others also!

if starzia gave him a hard time, then my sorc probably could have gotten him. she was a similiar build to starzias, but i decided to quit the game and turned my sorc into an ear using my friends meteor. oh well
LoL yeah i was the other sorc that afro referred to. HOW THE F*** did he get to my pw'd game???!?!?!??!?! SOMEONE had to had to have been a mole in the previous game. Vader and I thought it was bo_meunoob (or something close to that) This may have been you afro .... if it was sorry bout the misunderstanding..we just didnt feel like taking chances. I saw him again in another game last night. There was a necro as soon as i mentioned that canned uses the wp hostile bug started spamming LOL YOU NOOB WTF ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT....the necros name was bonerz or something close to it. I think hes got moles in the game. Pretty sure that most of you know this. If you're gonna kill him...you're gonna have to drop bug his *** *** so he doesnt have a connection to use his "chicken"
I wont mention its slightly *** using hacks to kill pk's - even if those pks are dumb 12yr olds that think they're god because they can cause 1 game to be at a stand still.
The next sorc that faces him will probably meet the same fate unless it is built for the task and even then it will probably take a mistake on his part.
The damage I have heard he does will only take potentially one good WW and a high roll to kill most any character.
It will simply take a mistake, hack/cheat or lag to kill him, or a few ticked off peeps that gang up with no worries of death.
BTW, a certain clan has some new buttons to play with..........if ya keep talking about him, pump him up he just might get it unless he is one of them.

There was NO delay in 1.09, and there should be NO delay in 1.10. By utilizing the PKer's Secret, it separates the people who will climb the ladder from those that will be too busy complaining after he gets your ear.
I respect all high level PKers, regardless if he's using duped runes or whatever. Takes more guts than most of you have to go after people who could absolutely drop you in a second. Hey, this season is already screwed up as it is, so get over yourselves and get on with it.
If he joins your game, I have the secret to avoid being PKed by him. It works 100% of the time. It's called, Esc+exit. When used when you see him, I guarantee your character's survival. If you hang out, and camp WS 2 waiting for a stupid BO, you deserve to be pounded.

I'll use the same argument that PK-ers use on us when we complain about PKs. Let me try and quote most of you PK-ers, "Blizzard intended PvP to be in the game so stop complaining". Well, if we use that same logic we can also say "Blizzard intended there to be a 10 second hostile delay so stop complaining". If the logic works for one argument, it has to work for the other. Just because you don’t like it, doesn’t mean it’s fair game to bypass it.
So, when you exploit a bug you are cheating. And that’s the bottom line.

I think he was referred to as a hacker because he uses maphack. Maphack users never got any respect and they still shouldn't. As for there being a 10 second delay...what Terry said, basically. Who are you to say that there shouldn't be a delay in 1.10? Blizzard put it there on purpose, so yes, it should be there. You could argue that "why didn't they fix the bug then?". But I think you know how small a priority D2 patches are given and that Blizzard are still not supporting the use of it. It's an exploit, thus it is cheating.
I respect all high level PKers, regardless if he's using duped runes or whatever.
Pardon me, but what a lame statement. Just because high-level pk'ing takes more guts as you say, it doesn't justify using cheats/bugs.

The hacks have already invaded the game, and exploiting a game bug in the name of ruining your Baal run, leveling, gaming experience, etc is just fine by me. That is NOT using a hack. If he's using MH, then there's no sympathy from me. But from what I've seen of him in games, he's killing legitimately. To me, a stupid delay is completely unfair to the PKers, and it ruins OUR fun. Ever think about that? No, probably not, you only think the game belongs to PvM players and dueling belongs in specific games. Those of us out to take you down a notch get blasted for making the game harder and ruining your precious fun.
Blizz fixed the Assassin and Hammerdin PK methods that were messed up post patch, they chose to keep the Waypoint method. If you camp a Waypoint, you deserve instant death. If it's Beeef barreling down on you with 1500 PvP damage, then so be it.
Doesn't matter to me tho, I'm chasing Beeef's ear anyhow. He's not flipping invulnerable you know. If you played PvP you would have posted the answer by now.

You're annoying conner and extremely obtuse. The delay was put there for a reason. It's to prevent cheap hostile+instant wp and kill tactics. That's not pking in my eyes. I don't use the WP bug, but he does. So what? Write to Blizzard 50 million times, see if it gets fixed. Betcha a Valor they don't do anything about it. It was accepted as the norm in 1.09, and it's still a 100% valid kill to me. If you die to this method, take a screenie, write to Blizzard, see if they will restore your character because of THEIR code. Betcha 5 UNID WF's they don't do anything about it.
And I hunt for my ears, because that's how I choose to PK. I also duel, another good source of ears.
I guess my overall point is, many of you complain incessantly, and it's becoming more annoying than usual. Just like Zappa had to forbid the use of (insert clan tag here), he should also ban your whining, *****ing, and moaning about the way things are. It's been the same story for too long, and it's time that you stop complaining to the people who can do absolutely nothing about it.
Join the Blizzard forums, and gather support there. This forum is supposed to be about Hardcore Strategy, not crying over spilled milk, bugs, PKs, and dupes. There is a completely different forum on this site dedicated to that.

It isnt difficult to change the channel if you dont like what you see.
I find it tiring seeing you complain that the timer "ruins" your fun when indeed you dont seem to give a ratz *** about other ppls fun. So why should any give a damn about yours?

The reason ppl gripe about bugs, pks, hacks is they arent suppose to be there whihc could be related with a bug that might cut your paycheck in half for a month at a large company, or screw up your grades in school. Sure these are different issues but nonetheless "important" to many ppl regardless of what you give a ratz *** about.
Overall (not all) but in general the PK/Dueling community is a bunch of mindless little pathetic punks that will use any means available legit or illegit to get the upper hand and that is totally pathetic and why I will only duel in Classic where even there some hacks can get ya but at least the majority of the pathethic twerps dont waste thier time duping and buggin items in Classic.

If you want to pk, do it by the rules, and blizz makes the rules, if you dont like them do us all a favor and leave the game.
If you cant pk with the 10 secs delay then you suck!
If you think using the method is just fine because blizz didnt fix it, i guess you think potion dropping people in 1.09 was perfectly fine?
Conner, I pk'ed and dueled in 1.09. And I will pk and duel in 1.10 when I grow tired of pvm. You seem to be avoiding the issue that I'm trying to argue ( the being legit issue). Anyway, as you should now understand it's not the pk'ing that gets me - should be pretty obvious as I stated I DO PK :)
Kudos to you for killing the more "admirable" way of hunting down your victims. However, I don't see why you would defend this beeef fellow. Or people who use duped runes for that matter - unless you use them yourself. And that was not an accusation.

You guys need to shut up and realize that NOT EVEN 5% of the players keeps playing when hostiled. They either chicken on hostile or TP to town,call you a noOb and tell you they wont duel because you "ebay" or "chicken" which they make up without any valid proof. Hardcore 1.08 and up has always been filled with retards who dont know **** about the game but baal/meph/pindle running. Most pks in classic (pre 1.08) died to parties fighting back and killing them but that wont happen anymore since everyone is such a puss. PKing has always been part of the game and should always remain a very important aspect of hardcore mode. Blizzard fell under the pressure applied by the carebear whiners on battle.net forums (who are just like 75% of the posters here) and "fixed" (ahahha) the wp pking. It would be fine if everyone wasnt such a pussy but thats not how it is. I suggest everyone approaches this issue the same way Conner does; dont like em, get rid of em.

No but you're forgetting about other Pkers and duelers, chicken hack doesn't apply to just PvMers does it? I bet that if you walk into a public dueling game, at least one of the duelers will have chicken hack. So not necessarily just PvMers have chicken hack, I bet there are more duelers than PvMers thats possess and utilize chicken hack. You also mention that some people accuse others of using chicken hack without valid proof. Now let's look at your standard public dueling game. There are MANY duelers who use the chicken hack and lamely use the excuse that they saved and exited really fast or they used "alt + f4". Is there any valid proof that they didn't use chicken hack? And those people who say they "alt + f4ed". So to my knowledge, if you use chciken hack you exit the game correct? So it takes about a few seconds to rejoin. Now compare that time to how long it takes from someone who actually uses "alt + f4" to rejoin. How long does it take to rejoin a game after using alt +f4? It takes a while because you exit out of the game comletely. So now can you please provide a logical explanation on how someone who claims they used "Alt + f4" can rejoin the game 5 seconds later? I don't think that is possible unless they lied and used chicken hack. And those people who claim to have exited really fast when they were low on health. Is there any valid proof that they didn't use chicken hack? They make the claim that they didn't use chicken hack, when they cannot legitimately support that claim. You make it seem as if PvMers are the only ones who use chicken hack, when in fact, duelers use it more often.

Intelligence. Patience. Innovation. Skills based upon ingenuity and the ability to work within the parameters of any given set of game rules are what engender respect in people. I challenge you to find a way to get kills without exploiting bugs and using hacks (not saying that you do). You seem to be a smart enough guy. Rise to the occassion my friend. :) Show everyone that there's some substance to all that bravado. When you achieve that, I think you'll find that feeling of accomplishment to be quite rewarding. And I have seen people PK without exploiting bugs. I'm sure you'll find some honorable duelers in this forum who don't use chicken hack. You should be able to find some PvMers who will stay in the game despite the fact you hostiled. I have seen many people get killed before by PKs because they didn't TP into town or leave the game. But you seem to kill people at higher levels whereas I mainly play low lvl so I'm sure there is a difference. If you want to PK someone legitly, make a LL dueler. I have seen lvl 9s kill lvl 40s. I would imagine that'd you'd actually want to work for the ear and get a feeling of satisfaction if you get someone's ear legit. I'm sure I'd feel pretty good if my lvl 9 killed a lvl 42 barb. I was lmao when I saw the barb die. I'm against pking because I don't think a PvMer vs a PvPer would exactly be a fair fight, but I support dueling, without chicken hack of course.

Holy crap, I thought no one would ever bring this up. How, Beef, do you think Khell and I got our respect? He built PKs from nearly no gear that were still effective and I, though rich, came up with new and innovative things that were a step ahead of everyone else. It's not that difficult to come up with something effective if you have an IQ likened to that of say, hm, a squirrel. So why can't you? Nevermind, I reread what I just wrote.
