Hello Pindle - Last 200 runs

I finally decided to write down my findings at Pindle. And since the question "Is running him worth it?" comes up so often, I thought I'd share the results. If my old brain doesn't betray me I think the runs were pretty ordinary. I recorded only Uniques, Sets and a few elite rares that would've been nice if spawned as Set or Unique. I didn't check for failed S/U. Runs were done with lvl94 Trapassa, 504% MF (72% on Merc but I don't think he ever got a kill).

Also, selling some of the drops nets me around 1 million every 50 runs, which by means of gambling returned me a Carrion Wind.

Overall 18 Uniques and Sets, so one piece every 11 runs. IMHO 4 of the drops were nice, so one nice drop every 50 runs :) I'm quite sure this fits in with other people's experiences.

I'll try to keep on recording my drops for the next 800 runs to get a more meaningful sample.

Thank you. I was pretty excited when I saw that thing drop and immediately muled it away, something which I usually don't do. After checking a drop calculator I think this was the rarest drop from him for me so far :)

Im gonna do 200 pindle runs just for the kicks and see what i get, tho you cant really tell. Sometimes he drops very good, sometimes he needs 60 runs to drop a ****ty unique.

My char is a Sorc, my MF is 601% with merc kill and I always go for it

hell pindle is not that easy. 650 per charge to my sorc with full dr. but again my merc takes the hit 8/10 times. And sorc block 75%, but still dangerous. not really worth it. best i found was shako./

I like doing Hell Pindle because it only takes about 20 seconds to kill him with low orb and unleveled ice bolt. As long as you freeze most of his minions, your merc won't die even without the best stuff.

while on the subject....anyone have a link to the pindle simulator? it was a link i *think* i found here awhile ago, though i couldnt find it, you basically input your mf and # of runs, and a bunch of unid'ed items pop up all over the screen (java applet) as if they were dropped on the ground

it was nifty, seeing screen fill up with gold item names quickly :)
