Only trigger I've seen on the realms so far is that stupid Necro Bone Spirit TPPK hack.
Easy enough to protect yourself from, just watch for any necro hanging back from the party.

one of the oldest tricks in the book..
this one might sound more familiar..
Champion RandomNoob: go to httttttp://yada yadda yadda.blah to get the newest MH! Protect yourself from Tigger blah blah..."
if you hit enter after you typed that adress into your browser.. youd better go try to get rid of that newly downloaded trojan pretty quick or kiss your account pass goodbye.
lol, yeah, thats much more likely than there being a trigger hack out

Just a quick nooblar computer question (as my computer knowledge is strictly gaming only!): How can they make you download something just by typing in an address?
im not sure as ive never done it, but it could be a background thing that they programed the website to do whenever a person goes there. like how websites make a cookie from their page i would guess.

By exploiting one (or more) of the many security flaws in IE, if you use a real browser such as Mozilla (http://www.mozilla.org) you will be exponentially safer.

Firefox you mean?
I use Mozilla (as opposed to Firefox) because I also use the mail client, though I realize most people don't, so for them Firefox is generally better for them.

Search for something like
+IE +"arbitrary execution"
For the most part though, I'd be guessing that anyone after your D2X password would be using well known exploits that have been patched, so long as you keep up with the updates you're probably pretty safe...don't take my word on that though ^^

Yes, this is still active. I saw a level 83 sorc go down in act 1 hell yesterday to it.
