I am Cy ... well ... in Internetlandia I am Cy, IRL I have fallen prey to silly silly parents and been named Annie (I seem to have popped out with a head of carrot color curls which thankfully have toned down and straightened out quite a bit)

Could be worse, Cy! You could have been born a guy and *still* had to carry on the family tradition. ;)

And we all know Cooner's first name...it's MISTER. :howdy:

My full name is His Magesty Grand Poohbah of the Known World the All Knowing All Seeing Incredibly Old Guy Warrior Poet...

I don't give out my real name online, especially in public settings. I dunno, but its something I feel that people must earn from me - not my name, but enough trust and respect from me that I am comfortable revealing my name.

CoonerTheRed

please... mister is my father's name, and i know better than to go by mister to my elders, poet :D

when not going by Cooner, I tend to go by *******, hey you, ****, or other similar names

I dont mind giving out my first name online, wich is Kyle... Besides if i gave out my last name, I would be laughed off the forums.;) I think there are only a few people that know my last name, and they are right here on these forums.

I usually hate to give out my real name, but in this case I have something remotely interesting to contribute so why not.

My friend name is Gerard... well, thats the spelling at least. I'm named after a saint, and the pronounciation is "Jerid"... however the catholic church has seen it fit to make me suffer their heinous spelling. All through school, college, job interviews... GerARD... no, its Jerid, damn it!

Thats it. Rest assured if I have a child I will not pass my name down! =)

I hope no one uses this information to stalk me and hunt me down...

*tackles nightshade*
*rolls him in a vat of glue then covers him in feathers*

There - the perfect disguise for stalking. If he sees you in the countryside you are an innocent emu freshly escaped from the local emu farm. If he sees you in the city you are just trying to sell chicken nuggets for the local greasy spoon.

I live to be helpful and kind :lady:
.... plus it is fun tackling people rolling them in glue and covering them with feathers. Yes, it has been done before but the classics never die.

Usually the guys I meet from the forums that I trade with alot I drop handles with.

Otherwise, you'll have to keep wondering. LOL

Hint: Parents gave me what was reported in national Baby Name books as a dead name, and "advises against naming any child this name because it is now obsolete". But was named for a rock n' roller from the 50's that my mother thought was just so cute. Good lord mom, thanks!

And tomorrow marks 31 years of having this name. Yikes!

I would be Conor, not that anyone should care ^^
People are obsessed with spelling the name incorrectly (IE Mr. Macleod up there). Last names get two Ns and first names should theoretically have a single N.
My parents got the name from the book Trinity...I'm named after an Irish gun runner...so there.

And as much as people are obsessed with mispelling my first name, they can't even fathom the concepts behind my last name... Hoehn. That's pronounced Hane. If they see it, good luck pronouncing it. If they hear it, well good luck spelling it ^^

I won't even start on my middle name.

LMAO Baalos, not that rock n roller. Think "Splish Splash"

And Conner is the spelling used in the movie Highlander. Some fansites ALSO spell is Connor. But Conner was the spelling originally used in the movie's screenplay. Every Highlander fan knows that! LOL

Well, Hoehn sounds like it has some kind of german origin..only here we would write it Höhn..and pronounce it quite a bit different than "Hane"..but there's no way I can discribe that here  So, its actually not that hard if you are born in the right country

Not sure if I wanna share my name in public, for whatever paranoid reasons. I have pointed out my age, country and webside on various occasions on this forum...gotta draw a line somewhere ;)

:D Nope, that's "Joy to the World" by Three Dog Night.

(This answer brought to you by your freindly neighborhood relic: Poet. )

Wasn't Bobby Darin also the singer for Mack the Knife? Now there's a classic lounge-lizard song!

Time to take my Geritol... :p

Jeremiah was a bullfrog. He was a good friend of mine. I never understood a single word he said, but he sure had some mighty fine wine.
