Im only posting this because I was requested to do so. If you dont care about it sorry for wasting your time. This summer I will be living with a host family in the city of Tegucigalpa, Honduras. I will be working for a non-profit organization called Pro-Lena designing and testing wood burning stoves. I am doing this through a program at my school called ETHOS (Engineers in Technical, Humanitarian Opprotunities of Service). If anyone has any questions about the group, how it got started, or how you can donate money or anything else to the program please post here or PM me as you see fit. It is important, imo, to be an active and positive influence in today's world. I appreciate the support Ive received from my DEV team members as well as others from this forum. Thank You. 7357.

I'll take the lazy realist/pessimist way out thank you ie. one person cannot change anything in this world.
 Great stuff, good luck with that project. I salute you for engaging yourself into a humanitarian problem.
@Omikron: History has proved something else: Jesus, Mother Theresa, Mahatma Ghandi, Mohammed, Buddha, Luther, Mandela, the Pope but also Gallileo, Columbus and Einstein (to name a few) have changed the world...and so has Hitler, to name one person that distinctively did not (or would not have) changed it for the better. Maybe add Oppenheimer and you can choose if you want to count him to the bad or good guys.

Omikron. Whether or not this is true, I believe that I can help so I will happily go and experience a brand new culture for 15 weeks. Even if I make only small achievement, Ive still done something. If nothing else, Ill get a 4 month vacation to the Carribean for next to nothing.
Det. Thank you for your kudos, maybe you can help me get back on my feet upon my return ;P

Hi Test,
Way to go, mate ... helping those less fortunate than yourself. Team Deviate's loss, is Honduras housewive's gain. Hope you have a great time down there.
Let us know how is goes, and when you do return to D2, Team KTA and ofcourse your friends from Team Deviate will gladly get you up and running.
Regards
Syxx / KTA-Sol
Thanks for the info Test. Not what I was expecting. Somehow I always think of wood being a more scarce resource in CA. I'm sure this will be a great experience for you. Nothing can be rewarding than learning about and actually LIVING another culture even if only for a short bit.
Be sure and give away the other LL junk I passed on to you (don't let it expire with your account). If I'm still playing when your back I'm sure I'll have lots of stuff for you.
Good luck on your adventure!!!! Make a difference!!!!

Actually Via, I have bad news. My freezer got killed by ~40 might aura'd flayers. I turn the corner and hear (ping+ping+ping+ow)^whole bunch. My merc lasted for about 3 seconds, after that I bit it. I tried to potion, save, and exit...I just couldnt make it. I am sorry for loosing the gear.
Sorry you lost your character. I'm glad the gear was used and lost as it was meant to be. Just didn't want it to expire away if someone else could have used it.

A few days late and a dollar short but, ********!
Good luck on your adventure and it takes balls to do stuff like this and doing it alone changes the world as this will change you!
