View Full Version : FoH Pala - Pindlerunner / secondary skill: input plz

Hi just wondering if it is a good idea to make a pindle runner via FoH... Will the FoH be able to 1 hit KO pindleskin and his m8s in hell? The reason for the pala build instead of the Blizzard sorc, is that i feel that its boring using the same char over and over again to atain items.
Another Question would be.. what skill to take as secondary? zeal? i really have no idea...

well, if you take max FoH, holy shock, vengance then maby holy bolt for the extra bit of dmg to undead. as they are all undead every lil bit helps :P

beyond that you could max out holy shield and the rest of your points into defiance for a very hefty defence boost which will help keeping them from charging you. charges HURT from them guys...

get a hf merc and make sure to not let the guys in garden stand up and you should be fine.

well, im not sure if this helps, but there is actually a sticky (or maybe a full pledged guide) on the pally forums discussing the merits of mfing pindle with an foh'er.

i think the real question here is: will pindle's pack (not necessarily pindle himself) die in 1 shot, even if foh is fully synergized? by full i meant conviction, foh, holy shock, holy bolt. if they dont, they i say scrap the idea, because it will be too dangerous to do it with a summon or a crowd control skill. if they do, then my answer will have to be holy shield, since, if you pindle heavily, you will notice that sometimes whatever spell you cast goes into animation but don't hit anything*. holy shield helps at those times (to save and exit :lol: )

*skills tested include valkyrie, decoy, lf, light sentry, shadow master, clay golem, amplify damage

use the aura that knockbacks undead. forgot the name. shame on me. and flash it right after u foh while yoyur waiting for foh to cool down. when it knocks them bacl, switch to aura and foh, then keep switching however many tiems it takes to kill, that way, it will keep pindles guys and the guys from the garden away from you.

Also there is a nice little trick to keep pindles guys in the guarden from standing up. If you run in, run to the first pillar(the one past the arch type thing) then run back and talk to malah(or w/e her name is the one that sells potions and scrolls and things in act 5) then run back, they wont get up at all, and all you will have to deal with is pindle and his possy.

You could also use redemption on the guys in the garden...I know you can revive them with a necro so they should be "redeemable" too, right?

yup, redemtation takes care of the guys outside pindle. foher is an interesting build for running pindle, it works fine as i have heard. also works great in ancient tunnel and the mauslem.
