help me with my fireball/orb sorc plz

I plan on maxing fireball, firebolt, fire mastery, and frozen orb. I'll put a point in warmth and a point in teleport, and dump the rest of my points into cold mastery. I plan on using shako, occy/wiz spike, magefists, skins, lidless/mosers with 2 p diamonds, arachnids, soj, bk ring, and a +1 sorc skill amulet with 11 str and 14 resist all. I'm going base str and enough dex for 75% block with mosers. I have an annhilius and a +1 cold skill charm, the rest of my inventory will be filled with vita,resist, and str charms. I'm not sure what i'm going to wear for boots, i'm debating between waterwalks, silkweaves, or rare boots with 10% fhr 29 cold resist, 24 light resist and 4 dex.

Will my fireball be powerfull enough to kill with no points into meteor?

I have a stormshield with a -15% jewel in it, is it worth it to pump 70 stat points into strength to use it?

just telling you, telek is a prereq for teleport, telek is raised on all sorcs.. and the telek its self only helps eng shield (lowers that mana that 1 dmg takes away)

ur fireball is too weak to kill without max metor.

you should go high fire skills / high % cold dmg items.. cause every 1 orb pnt doesnt add much dmg.. % dmg does tho

I think my sorc is set now. I'm going to switch skins for ormus with +3 fireball with 12% cold damage, unfortunately it only has 10% fire. I don't do much trading so i doubt i'll ever get a nightwing veil. I'm going to pump enough str to wear marrowalks as my boots and then use stormshield. I"m going to max meteor and put 1 pt into fire mastery. Sound about right?
