ok i was just pking when i switched my rings over to dworfs for a fire sorc well a nerco kills me anyways ans then the sorc nks me she went after som1 else so i went to get my bod then i pick it up and only have half of it so i go back to town to change and get rest but she nks me again so i leave to come back AND MY EBOTD CB, IMPS, 08 ARREATS and more are gone WHAT DO I DO TO GET THEM BACK thats like everything i have in this game plz help me plz

nah blizz wont care it's stated cearly in arreat summit (blizzs official diabloii place), if you have 2 corpses out the one with the most valuable (valuable based on price sold to vendors like akara which is probably why your botd part of your equip got lost botds dont sell for much :( ) equipment will appear after you rejoin and everything else will be lost. ya thats why you need enough str to use these or if you have 2 corpses you have to stay in game til you can get ur body back. I hate to say it but tough luck :( for what it's worth I lost a ebotd warpike and steelrends like this once

true my enigma, steelrends, rings, ammy, ss, and wc swords would be gone instead of my 08 arreats, ebotd cb, and impshanks. god blizzard sucks

Whaa whaa whaa, my dupes are gone! Seriously, it sucks that you lost some stuff, but you are getting really worked up over some stuff that: A. is in a video game. B. is all duped anyhow and C. you say "this is all i have, help me please" Well, your BOTD, Enigma 08 arreats and all, is far more than I have, and what you didnt lose is still far more than I have. So honestly, try having some fun with items that maybe are NOT duped. And dont tell me I only have fun with lesser items because I dont duel, and dueling is expensive. I do duel, I duel on hardcore, so when I die, I lose far more than a few dupes, I lose charms, the character, and ALL my legit, hard earned items.

I'm sorry I'm being a bit of a jerk about this, but honestly, when people who dont seem to know what they are doing (enigma and imp shanks on a dueling barb... sure, they are "elite" but why not use an ed/life armor, or SOMETHING better than enigma, woohoo, i can teleport at 9 thousand frames per tele, fear me!, or gore riders over imp shanks, DS+CB please...) I mean, learn what you are doing, then use legit items, and you will be MUCH stronger than you are with all your duped up items and no knowledge how to use them. I just have very little sympathy for people who seem to be more than a little well off crying about a lost dupe or two, I thougth those damn things were all gone with the coming of the patch.
If it was a post saying how you lost all your legit items to a nakedkilling sorceress, and there was no "omfg hlp me plzzzzzz omg i lost all my godlyzzz!!!one111!" in it, i would have some smypathy... but I'm just not seeing why I should feel sorry for you, is it because you lost dupes? Or is it because you have more than enough extra duped items to trade for all your old dupes, or, wait for it.... MF some Legit gear and make a real dueler...

actually your quite wrong. enigma is the best overall armor for barb. lots of frw, +2 skill , dr, life, damage taken goes to mana, and a lot of str which saves you points for vita and 1 vita = 4 life for barbs so that's a lot of extra life and decent defense. also barbs have the same fcr break points as sorcs so they actually tele quite fast and it's not hard to reach 10 or lower fcr break points without scraficing much.

I disagree. I know barbs have a very good return rate per FCR%, but honestly, it is simply not worth putting any FCR on a barb, sure, tele doesnt hurt, but really, against any skilled dueler, its not too much of a help, it will get you to someone, but unless you are going to kill them in one hit, they wont stand around long enough to get killed while you go through the sloooow tele animation.

As for dmg goes to mana, I think on a high level dueler, barb or not, %dmg to mana is not really all that helpful, and I say that from experience, again, it doesnt hurt, but its really not all that.

+2 skills is very nice, but its not a caster, you gain what, 30% ED from it? On a melee build, i would argue that its not all THAT helpful, outside of warcries. Its nice, but i would not classify +2 skills as crucial.

As for the strength, yes, that is very nice, but if you have an armor with EITHER strength, dex OR life, which I am sure that you could get on a better armor, thats at least made up for.

Runwalk is helpful, as is damage reduction, but I personally prefer other mods over dmg reduction in melee duels, and it doesnt do a damn thing against casters, i think its overrated. With some WW'ing skill, its quite easy to take very few hits, while landing quite a lot, a little dmg reduction is not all that incredible.

Overall, Dont get me wrong, Enigma is a VERY nice armor, but I stand by my opinion, that there are better options armor-wise for a melee barb, plus, its an OBVIOUS dupe, 08 arreats is nice too, but its still a lame dupe.

I agree with Matt on the fact that if u have those good items you should know what to do(in regards to the body issue). But loosing all your items is hard duped or not because im sure it still took along time to get them.
Matt just because u dont have these items dont flame on people who do. I to duel on hc but i dont really die in duels so i dont loose much.
As for not being able to pick up your items like that i had no idea either but i never play sc. Interesting
ps: if bliz does fix the strength glitch i would have to remake ALL my chars and that simply wont do.

I duel because I enjoy a good challenge, where my success depends on my skill more than anything else (a good setup is required, but after that, i really do think 90% of "fair" duels (a level 30 vs a 34, or a 56 vs a 60 are fair, a 31 vs a 65 or a 12 vs an 18 are NOT fair) are skill based, anyone will tell you a midlevel charger is a better dueler than a mid lvl tigerstrike assassin in 1.10, yet I made a TS assassin, and dueled a few chargers, beating all of them, yes, I would probably die in one hit, but I use the walls, I keep a shadow between us, and I mindblast+Dragonflight them, its all about tactics.

Anyhow, I am not flaming him out of jealousy for his duped items or something, woohoo, you have an "elite" setup, good for you, give me a well equipped barb of similar level, and I would duel you, and I bet I would win, despite the "disadvantage" of using, gasp, LEGIT gear! By the way, what character are you dueling with that you never die in hc? Is this some high level tankbarb or something? I cant see you surviving any hammerdins, bone necros, decked out barbs or nasty chargers unless you have 5k+ life, and then theres still the issue of putting out enough damage to actually kill the enemy... Just curious, I was never much of a high level hc dueler, I dont make characters above 60ish, my highest so far in ladder was a 45 sin, after that, a 30, now I'm making a 53, which will be my highest.

basically you hate enigma cuz you dont' have one or what? lol enigma is clearly the best armor overall. it gives you 45% frw which you will have to replace with 9 invetory slots of 5% frw scs. bascially the 45% frw = 180 life and that's before bo and jah. the str it saves you is like 65 extra vita which converts to 260 before bo and str = damage. most ed/max/ias/life or whatever armors out there are duped anyway and most enigmas are at least made on legit 3 sock armors. i guess you don't play softcore nl or you'd know there are good tele barbs out there who can kill any casters. I know serveral builds which will allow you to have 8 fps tele, over 1k mana, 6k life, and 5k+ ww, and many ot her variants. tele barbs are not cookie cutters but they defininetly are better than what most people think.if you equip your barb right 10 fps tele should be easily achievable without having to sacrifice much at all.

My barb has 0 fcr yet i kill people with tele ww or tele zerk all the time. it's true that normally barbs don't need to rely on teleport but having teleport definitly helps a lot, without it a lot of times you are just sitting duck. such as when you are surrounded by bone prison, walls, slowed, chilled, holy freezed, surrounded by hammers or other projectiles. wihtout it you are just sitting duck in most duels even with mad frw and if you wanna get mad frw you'll have to sacrifice a lot not to mention 5% frw scs dont' spawn anymore.

1st i wasnt asking for a hand-out all i wanted was to no if there was a way to get it back

2nd there not my dupeds some 1 else duped them then traded them to me and it had spawned in the game so its not like im hacking

i thought bloemak made it pretty clear that flaming wasn't allowed. and 99% of nl duelers are duped somewhat. the ones who aren't really all legit are pretty much all pvm players who can never kill anyone in duels. this is sc we are talking about. everyone here has rune words which makes impossible to compete if you dont' have any unless you are a sorc. and nowadays most sorcs even need cta. and all the duel chars in sc are very high leveled except for a few in lld leagues. and i dont' think that guy bragged about how much he "pwned" he was simply complaining how he lost his items. i think you just resent the fact that some rich duped people in hc picked on you now your letting it all out on some random guy on softcore pvp forum.

edit: you can only say you are all legit if you found all the items yourself. cuz otherwise you wouldn't know if your items were botted, duped,etc.

If there is anything i dislike about this thread, it is:

1) How it will get uglier every post so i'll close it.

2) The threadtitle and posting from bronze. I mean seriously, we're not expecting anyone to speak proper-proper english here, but... can you at least try not to turn every word into something 3-4 letters long that's supposed to be easy to read/write and "cool" or whatever.

And make a sensible thread title, not "omfg plz help me".
