Why is Tals ammy worth so much?

Hmmm... I know its a very good amulet, but why is it valued over shako or Tals armor or even stormshield? Is it because people tend to use tals armor, belt and the 3rd peice for mf (and helm is shako and wep is something else, leaving ONLY ammy as a viable option) therefore bumping its value? I was hoping to get one for my sorc who is being made, but it looks like I will have to FIND one... grrr

Because the people bot, there's only 1 unique Monarch or 1 unique Shako, but there's LOTS of Set Amulets, which don't tend to be Tals Ammy.

because tal's ammy seems to get harder to find than tal's amror or ss or shako. i found like 20 set amulet from hell meph, none of them is tal's ammy.

Its probably not better, but I know that nm counsil drops them at a very high rate (compared to other places)

there are a whole heck of a lot more tals armors in circulation than tals ammies. Dont ask me why, i dont really know too much about TC's and stuff, but it seems like high level monsters have a verly low chance of dropping tals ammy or something. Whenever i Spam something good in the trade channels, i always get 50-bajillion offers of tals armors. Seems like every botter and his brother has 2-3, at least one they wouldnt mind parting with for my BK ring. When asked how much their tals armor is worth they reply 'worth ss + shako, noob' when tals armor is really getting to be more like mal rune in value. Anyone else have input on this matter? why the heck are there so many tals armors?!!!!

I think the drop rates have changed. That is only the explanation I can come up with. To date I've found 2 Tals armors, 2 SOJs, but I haven't found a single Skins,Dury Shell, or even a Goldwrap. What is up?

BTW, I found both Tals in Ancient Tunnels. I've found lots of set armors there.

May I ask why mfing tals ammy is better in normal A5 or A1/2 Nm than hell?
If Ilv is a problem, why do 20 set amulet don't have 1 tal's.....
I was so excited to find a set amulet which time, and hope it is tal's(because it worth the best), but then it turns out to be....anglic, cathans, tran, isxxxx, not sure what eles i got, but i think i found every set amulet beside tals....

Lately i see the tals armor trade for ss+. Ammy > armor > ss, or in runes, gul>ist++>ist+.

Anyhow, Tal's ammy is among the three rarest set ammys that can drop. Arcanna's, Telling of Beads, and Tal's all have the exact same odds of spawning, and all are extremely rare finds and can be dropped by any monster over mlvl 39. It's also the best MF ammy in the game because it goes with the set, and they are most commonly worn by sorcs.

Altho the three are scarce as hen's teeth, and have the same odds, the funniest part is that it's worth 40 times what it's counterparts are worth.

I remember when ladder started I needed Arcanna's Sign to develop a cold sorc. Nobody seemed to have it, and I had to give a ton of stuff for it. Now you wouldn't be able to find one person who keeps it (altho I still have my entire set).
