Just a thought, if you were to name the best low level dueler you've ever seen duel, who would he/she be and why? Its so fun just hearing people's stories of how low level dueling can be so intense. :surprise:

I haven't been in the LLD community very long, but on East Ladder I'm very impressed with Belarathon. Methmike also has a mean level 27 Pally, first and only pally to beat my sin so far.

I've gone through so many different builds, but currently I have, on west NL:

29 Conc Barb
29 Zealot (remaking from 4 frame to 5 frame eventually)
27 Smiter
18 Zealot
9 Assassin
30 Necromancer
30 Blizz Sorc
30 Ele Druid

29 Holy Shock Zealot on East (gogo Pansy welfare gear <3)

Of those characters, my best/favorite is my lvl 30 necro:

UnholyKnarl, lvl 30 Necromancer
655-719 Spirit, slvl 14
528-562 Spear, slvl 23
826 Life
803 Mana
75% Block, +75 Resists, 105% FRW, 80% FCR.

If you see a better lvl 30 necro on west, I'd like to duel him. :thumbsup:
But I'm always up for challenges against any of my characters.

i rember that knarl person. back in 1.09 we triple teamed his werebear and won. he really sux :lol: but that smiter, i dont ever rember killing him. geez, i havent played nonladder in such a long time. i need to get caught up again.

My old 29 werebear could take 2 on 1 sometimes, but 3 on 1 was just too much. :scared:

I even remember his stats...1765 max dmg, 4 frame maul, 5k ar, 1214 life, mmmm, so much fun. Thanks to blizz for deleting 21+ max dmg jewels and screwing him over too.

Arc, Ugmug, and Saint where "of the best" 09 lld101's i knew, legend, fantasy as well.

all of them had one or two very cool builds. from lvl 14 druids to 29 chargers.. or fire ball sorcs

knarl ofcourse is there with his may builds..and acording to LLD101 rules and guidelines knarl is certinaly the most versitile (that i know of currently)
and ofcourse hes a mod for a reason!

as for best.. knarl?.. hmm well.. theres somethig to be said for a man with hundreds of +15 sc's with seconds mods.. i mean the guy has 1700+ posts and u know most of that is from trading the lld gear,

id have to say if there was a top 5 in Us realms both west/east, knarl would be there

when it came to West lvl 9s though... it was Pryckly, Zei(wicked weasel) and UGMUG!! all the way man. they were just excellent lvl 9's

thes guys had all rare 20% +9-14 dmg jewels , envious amoutns of dmg. and with aroudn 600 life too!!

and then ofcourse there were always the ones who didnt really affiliate with guidelines as well, and some of them were quite good.

My lvl 21 jabazon was > Arc's lvl 21 jabazon. :lol: He blamed my cow kings boots. :cheesy:

He's long since quit this game too. I see him on starcraft occasionally though.

Ugmug has pretty much quit due to personal reasons. His defense-oriented bear was the only melee char that could beat my lvl 29 werebear. (well duh, 4k def vs 5k ar...who's gonna win? :scratch: )

Saint is still playing, though I got the impression that he never really liked to play by the rules...he is/was more of a pubby LLDer.

Legend still plays on ladder mostly I think, sometimes I see him on his old NL lld account though.

Fantasy is pretty much ladder only now, but he still has most of his lld stuff on NL, and was planning a lvl 30 necro last I talked with him.

Some of you sc low level duelers should come over to hardcore! There are far too many lamers there now, it would be GREAT to see some real good, skilled and mature duelers come to hardcore, I would think that after being so dominating on SC (knarl, from what i have heard, you fit here) the next step would naturally be to come put them to the ultimate test. I know I wont convince any of you to come to hardcore, but if you ever do, give me a pm, I really enjoy dueling with people who know what they are doing, and make some very good characters, and are just fun to play with.

the loss of characters and gear just burns me up when it happens.. i dont like that feeling... so i dont play hc.

Yes. I like the idea of their being real stakes in a duel, to me, that really adds an element that just is not there in SC dueling, and that makes all the difference.

Nahh, nothing new for you guys from the HC-forum. Haven't posted the link here before, so I thought that the SC-players could enjoy it too :)

I've got one lvl 9 1.10 ladder-Pala going now. The build is almost like my old ones, thx to donations from fellow KTA/Gat'ers :)

Have also tried experimenting with Cleg's sword for a lvl 9 (vs. Flail) with mixed results so far, but I'm not giving up Cleg's yet :)

ah dear lld , still love it well, vlld- lvl 9

I havent played it in well seems like a year now, but damn i had some fun times there, just finding the gear and juwels cubing ect, was some of the sweething about it. (cubing 400 sojs to get some v.very good low lvl juwels, sick hehe)
well killing x4 youre own char lvl is fun to, and dueling other dedicated lvl 9'rs! Man i spent houre dueling , it was the most fun i had. Lld duel usual have alot more manner then lvling duel, alot.

use to play in aow liga if anyone knows about that one (eu) and went pretty far but i was just sgined into the season and havent had some many fights so i was eliminated from the quarter finals even tough i beat mostly all the the ppl who were in then , think i had 9 fight or so they had 2x. that broke my heart :grrr: spent so much time completing my gear and making redicules high bid for just the juwels and charms i wanted to win this tour.Bbut i have the pleasure as saying that some of the finalist i beat em and after i contacked the winner and asked for a duel and won 4-1 Yippi :winner:

hm think ill start vlld again, miss that fun there, but it seems rather nefed in 1.10 and the ml and ll ..hm that was one of my javs's strong points

dam - 5xx-21xx but i can have much much more.. my eth pike broke and with that one my dam was 7xx-32xx so i can really kill..

Only problem i face is my mana.. it runs quickly very low..

Well I must say, I'm glad that I've had a lasting impression on the game since I pretty much haven't shown my face for what, 6 months now? Knarl, Jerkazoid, all other .09 LLDers, you all rule :D Thanks for flattering me guys :yep: heh
