Last day my beloved Trapsin was slain by Hell Pindelskin - FE - KABOOOM and she was dead.
How much damage do FE monster - my Trapsin have max resist, 1500 life , Dwarf star fo fire absorb, 30% PDR - and still it was one hit kill.
This must be inasne damage.

Hi!

Well any FE monster is a force to be reckoned with :(

As for Pindle he's a Defiled Warrior which on hell has 5100-8345 life, and him being superunique gives him 4.25 times more life so 21675-35466.

FE death explosion does 75-100% damage of max life in a 4 yard radius(does anyone know if it's like a necro's CE with 50% fire and 50% phys?)

So in a best case scenario he'll do 21675*0.75=16256 damage so lets say it's 50% fire and 50 phys, with perfect gear (95% fire res and 50% DR) that's still
406 fire damage and 4064 phys damage so unless you have 4500+ life you my friend is dead. (you'd be really lucky to get a best case)

btw why was a trapsin doing that close?

Rumor has it that when FE combines with CE, LE, Spectral Hit, or any other number of mods, the combination can be quite deadly, even in hell where the damage was supposedly 'fixed'. Anytime I see 'fire enchanted' I make sure to zig-zag away, hoping that desynch doesn't decide that I'm still standing right next to the boss when my merc/valk kills it.

remember to divide that by a certain factor (this is what they fixed, but it's still a whole lot)

Ok sorry for giving out false info here, as it seems you should divide my calcs by 4 so in the best case you should have survived, but you only had 30% DR.

Honestly,

I think the big part of the equation is how many people are in the game, which in turn affects the total life of the creature.

I kill FEs with my barb all the time without dying when I do solo MF runs. And he only has 2K life (only level 70) with BO.
