Our jump / stun bouncing Barb couldn't make it, but our Trapper returned. We needed to do a quick Diablo / shenk in order to catch the Trapper up with the rest of the team. Our Bonemancer bought in his Strafezon to help with this and Diablo died with revelant ease. So did Shenk.
Then the Zon said goodbye and the Bone Necro returned and we were ready to continue our adventuring from where we left of last week. Our first quest was to find Crystalline WP, then the rescue Anya. What a breeze when we got down to Froozen whats-it-called .... not a Gloam in site. In fact the whole evening we were very lucky with the monsters that we faced. Thankfully very few Fire Immunes.
Anya was rescued, and as usual the rewards she gave to the group were crappy and sold immediately. Next was finding Ancients, and killing them. 2 of them were not Fire Immuned, so they died rather quickly. However the last one, Talic was Fire Immuned and Lightening Immuned, so none of our elemental spells were of any use. It took alot of Frenzy'ing, Bonespearing and good old fashion bashing from our mercs and minions to take him out.
Then a quick trip down to Worldstone level 2 to get a WP, and we called it a night. We didn't want to kill Baal or Nik, without our BouncingBarb being present. We want our Guardianship as a group, so this coming Wednesday, if all goes well, KTA 4.0 will end with us all gaining a nice new title.
Quote of the evening came from our FrezyBarb who was having to wait for the rest of the party to arrive for a BO. "If you don't get down here, they'll be no BO for you ^^" .... to which our Necro replied, "Then I won't Decrepify the monsters for you" Disention in the ranks .... nope, just some friendly teasing.
Last night was alot easier than previous evenings. Partially because there were less Fire Immunes and scary monster types, and partially because of our returned Trapper and his Lightening / Death Sentry traps. Also without our Bouncing Barb to stun the monsters for crowd control, our Sin converted a number of monsters so they got hammered instead of the team. A pretty safe and fast evenings adventuring.
