Some history on me: My account on USEast SC/NL is The-Witch-King, an account that I've had since the first Diablo. I've been playing Blizz games since I picked up Diablo many, many years ago and haven't stopped since. I've dabbled in Starcraft, its expansion, and Warcraft III, but real-time strategy games have never suited me, which is also the reason I never touched Frozen Throne. I patiently await the release of WoW and look forward to playing that.
Ok, I've been looking for quite some time, and many guilds/clans just don't suit me or my style of play. I'm interested in starting up a new group, with the possibility for multiple games. The D2 primary realm/type is going to be USEast SC/NL, as this is where all my chars are currently established. Personally, I'm getting rather bored with D2, and would like to see some other games thrown into the mix. I currently play a few other games as well, which will be discussed if/when someone contacts me that is interested. Ideally, I'd like this to expand to AT MOST 2 other games/series of games with loyal members. Pipe dreams maybe, but I think it can be done.
I have fairly extensive experience in web design (6 years hobby, 2 years professionally), so a website would be possible. I also have experience as a leader of a clan/guild, but would prefer to take more of a backseat/upper management role if possible. Unfortunately, I work full time, and have a fiancé that take up a vast majority of my time, so I usually can only play nights and some on weekends (EST). This is why I'd prefer to keep a backseat role, so someone that has more available free time can be my eyes and ears.
I'm tired of having clan mates that aren't on when I am, and I'm tired of loudmouth new members that seem to think they have superiority over others. It's time for the mature gamers to band together to create a fun, pleasant, and organized atmosphere that really suits who we are. Anyone that would like to start this up with me is welcome to PM me to discuss more possibilities of anything, especially regarding rules, ranks, joining requirements, etc.
