Ok so, the next PVP tournament has been announced - http://forums.diabloii.net/showthread.php?t=585165

But what we all need is a little practice and as such, this is where this thread comes into effect! I have set up one of my spare computers to run Diablo 2 24/7 so that anyone who wants to can join. I won't be around 24/7 of course, but the game should be up and active.

This thread is to bring any technical difficulties to my attention and for me to say if anything has gone wrong.

I'm running a 15 meg broadband, linux system based in the UK. If the latency etc sucks, i'll be surprised, but i'll take it down :P

Traps are painfull and MB is annoying

Was never that good at pvp and playing for the first time in ages was even worse than normal - i think I was lucky to snag the few sneaky kills that I did get :grin: for some reason pvp is so damn addictive though even when you are getting pwned :thumbsup:

Yeah, linux had what it calls a "big error".

It's a pretty funky box - "Uh oh.....big error! *Ok*"

I've tried to work out why it does it, but it only seems to do it when i'm away from home, so it's difficult to reproduce :P
