GFG Blizz Sorc for organized pvp.

Hi i plan on doing alot of 2v2's and 4v4's with a blizz sorc which im in the process of making, what do you guys think is the best setup, gear wise and skill point wise for this enviroment. Plz only respond if you have organized pvp experience. Thanx

One I've seen that was quite effective (this is the legit version):

NW with 5/5
CoH
Fathom with 5/5
Tri-Res Boots
Stormshield with Ber
Arachs
Trangs
SoJ
Good mods FCR ring (mana/life/str/res etc.)

The build goals in terms of FCR/FHR are 63/48. You'll need some FHR Gcs and the rest should be lifers (don't attempt this w/o lifers, they are important to a block build). The main attraction here is max DR, max Block, stacked resists and huge damage ( it is a vita/block build, no ES). The huge blizz will kill very effectively against the unstacked opponents you are likely to face in orginized PvP. You can switch to 4Lo, Spirit etc. if you don't need DR and block.

There are ES/Blizz builds that can do better, but I don't know them very well so I won't comment. One nice thing about TvT if you're a sorc is you can carry a 9 ES staff on switch all the time.

Wouldn't it be better to socket the nw with a shael, because in the scheme of things, a single facet doesn't seem to help as much as adding another lifer and taking out a fhr gc.

Yes it quite possibly would be better, I'm just regurgitating information from a friend mine who knows all about blizzers. I only had this char for a little while, I got sick of having to play defense and went back to my ghost.
