is this hell viable

me and a long time online friend were thinking of going through the whole game untwinked on SP P/8.

I wanted to make a trapsin and he said he'd make a warcries barb. What I was wondering was that if this would make a good team and that a wc barb is actually viable untwinked.

The trapsin is viable solo, so yes the team will certainly work.

However, I doubt the barb will be able to effectively kill anything (even on /players1) - he'll have to tank and perform crowd control while the trapper & merc do the killing.

hmm maybe I can convince him to try a frostmaiden or something along those lines instead, thanks for your help

Frost Maiden + Death sentry might not be that great, but lit sentry is great anyway.

It's possible for you to set traps ahead of the group, then he runs off and lures stuff into your traps. This could be deadly with death sentry. 500 mf find item would just be gravy

Doing this untwinked, I think you'll find yourself turning down the player settings once you reach hell.

Another factor is whether you're going to re-run areas. If so, then you obviously have a better chance to get good items, and can accumulate more exp (meaning higher level, and better survivability).
