ISO others for 1.11b SC RRM/RWM MP

I think some MP action sounds like fun (after work/this weekend). I'm not entirely sure what it is I want to do, but what I know is that I want to do is take new chars through to pat/mat in MP. It could be two new untwinked chars, or it could be a twinked-to-the-gills power pair. Twinking status and specific builds can be discussed with anyone who's interested.

What I'm looking for is one or two other people with play times similar to mine who also have an interest in some MP. I'm on the west coast of the USA (either GMT-9 or GMT-8, I forget which), and I usually get to play somewhere in the area of 6 to 10 pm local time on weekdays, with weekends wide open. I don't want to set up any required dates and times where anyone interested has to be available; I'm more interested in just exchanging AIM/email/whatever information and playing when we can.

I'd be interested definately. I go on holidays as of next weekend (not going away though) so I'll have plenty of time. I'd prefer untwinked for a regular MP group and use some less-common builds (not a fishymancer, hammerdin, blizz sorc etc.)

When questing twinked, I usually just do whatever I need to do to get through as fast as possible, but not always. When playing untwinked, I do no rerunning unless I've reached a point where I cannot progress with my current equipment, then I do the minimum rerunning I can manage to improve my equipment (the exception of this is that I'll usually do a couple baal runs before starting a new difficulty for some exp). The no-rerunning means that I often do nearly full clears, but I don't force myself to track down every last fallen hiding in a corner.

However, that's all more or less irrelevant. I have played in a wide variety of styles, and I'm certainly willing to adjust to whatever pace people are interested in.


So, it looks like there might be enough interest that we could put together a group here. For a larger group, I'd personally vote for untwinked, because several of us twinked would probably be boringly easy. I also like the idea of somewhat unconventional builds, but really, what I'd like is to get a vote from everyone interested on whether they'd prefer twinked/untwinked and what kind of builds they'd like to play.

Something else I'd like to make sure is clear now rather than later: I can't currently commit to any kind of regular playing time, I can just provide the hours (6-10pm west coast mon-fri, all day weekends) when I'm likely to be available, and if others are available during those times, we can rock. If anyone's looking for something more structured, you're welcome to set something up and I'll be along when I can, and when I can't you can just advance without me and I'll catch up on my own (which would be a perfectly fine setup by me if that's what people want).

I vote for untwinked and I'd be intereted in playing either a Cleric or maybe an Iron Barb

Ive never liked untwinked but have always tried playing by myself in a group it sounds fun not sure what I'd play though wouldnt prob like caster so I unno yet I'll think on it

I'd like to get into a regular-ish MP group; I've played SP for just about all my Diablo life and am interested in doing something new. I often twink out everything, but would not be opposed to an untwinked share-fest. I just moved to Texas, so the night times you mentioned are acceptable for me, too.

Hmmm... what somewhat out there build can I make? ...Fire Ranger? Tough without rerunning areas/untwinked. Old school Multi/GA 'Zon? Dunno. I'd be open to ideas to compliment whoever else may be in the group!
