Muleing items from L to NL

Title kinda says it all...

I am wondering if it is possible to mule items FROM ladder TO non-ladder. I can understand that the ladder pool needs to stay real squeaky clean, but I would think it possible, somehow, to move some items from my ladder char onto a non-ladder char.

So... doable or no?
