1. Do you think that you will only have enough skill points to specialize in 1 or 2 skills in d3, like in d2? Since the 1.10 patch, a character has to specialize in 1 or two skills, or die. I really don't like this, and want to be able to have lots of spells in d3, to use in different situations. Of course not being able to make all skills reach their full potential, but I would like characters to be more flexible.

2. Do you think the trading system will be improved? To be honest, it really sucks in d2. It's so hard to find what you want to. You have to search around in all trading games. It would be better if there was a search tool to see who is willing to trade and you can put up offers and whatnot. Instead of asking every character you see if they have a rare dagger with 300 ed, ar bonus, ethereal and self-repair.

I'm not sure, but I think in Age of Conan, it works so you give an item you want to trade to a certain NPC and everyone comes to him to look for items and give offers. Would be nice if they could implement something like that into diablo 3, even though it porpbably would be harder in a non-MMO.

Although, it can be fun actually meeting the person you are going to trade with and bargain with him (presuming he/she doesn't have the mentality of an 8-year old).

I have the exact opposite playing preferance as you lumpor; I prefer to play extremist chrs who eventualy use just one highly specialized skill. That said, I hope they allow enough diversity to support both of our prefered playing styles.

For the new trading system, I was hoping there could be a complex set (relative to D2) of bullitin boards where you could advertise what you have and request what you are looking for. It should be, imo, a jsp-like system only built right into the game so that no one feels compelled to actually go outside of the game to use jsp.

While I agree that it would be nice to have extra flexibility built into the trading system for DIII, I think that the complexity of some of the models suggested may not be practical in a non-MMO environment.

Also, did you consider that by introducing an overly-complex system, Blizzard could potentially alienate and reduce the users of forums such as this one, where the sense of community and fanatical debate are one of the most significant drivers in the long term success of DII? Why leave the game if you don't have to....

No, I never thought of that. But I am opposed to outside help like forum gold, and of course hacks. Then again, not all outside help has to be harmful to the game. I suppose the forum stradegy guides are a good example.

I think a system where gold is actually of some use would be nice, so that we can have a standard currency to work with.

1. Nice. IMO I don't want too many skills but 2-3 powerfull ones, ot just backups, could be very cool so you don't get bored from your Blizzard.

2. How about traing channels in the chat room? But ones that will really work?
