Inferior Leather Gloves [White]
I'm assuming "inferior" is D3's equivalent to cracked/low quality/crude items. Hopefully they'll have more purpose in D3 than in D2...
Also, I love the fact that DPS and APS is shown.

Elixers are back, meaning maximum statistics can be achieved, and it looks like they've gone out of their way to dumb down items. Runes, quality, so far.
i dunno "x attacks per second" seems like a more sensible stat than "fast attack speed"
Gathering these lists will be a fool's job due to the random item generation. :P

Not really, though it will be more a list of base statistics rather than definitive item lists.
Base Items will have standard stat's that will not change. EG Every Waraxe will have the same base damage, attacks per second, DPS etc. Those we will be able to collect.
After that, we will need to create lists of magic prefixes and suffixes (assuming they use them in the same way the previous 2 games did). For each one we will need to work out what they do and what range they have.
After that we may need to work out whether certain prefixes and suffixes cannot work together (eg if there is a +health suffix and prefix, they may make it impossible for both to appear on the same item) or whether certain pre/suffixes do not spawn on certain items (eg life leech/mana leech)
This task will likely be alot easier if we can datamine the files once the game ships. If your terribly lucky they will use .txt files again.

Yay!! Elixirs!! Those were my favorite in D1!
It seems that they've taken more stuff from D1 than D2? Lore-wise and content-wise also.
Anyway, chipped star topaz.. Does that mean sockets are back? Not such big news, but I think it's confirmed now.

Well, it seems so.
... OF IMMOLATION = adds fire damage.
... OF FROST = adds cold damage.

Ha Ha. Good work psudo. Pants. Now the lewd kids can take their pants off for each other.
I find it interesting that no requirements are listed.
No requirements for a certain strength or level in order to equip the items.
Handy list. It'll be in the wiki asap.
As for the items and stats and reqs... place almost zero importance on them as predictive of anything long term. D2 and D2X and other RPG betas I've been in have had massive item changes, right up until the game release. Modifiers galore change, allowed mods are switched around, every number on items are tweaked, drop balances change, etc. For instance, they had +1 skill tree mods on magical runes in the d2x beta.
Items and skill values are probably the thing that the designers are most able to change and tweak right up until the release (and afterwards) and I'm sure that won't change in d3.
I honestly don't think the itemization will be all that different in D3. I mean, even in the gameplay video they showed us, they decked the Barb out in a set of Gothic Plate. I imagine any attribute requirements would be more or less the same, unless they make drastic changes to the attribute system.
Elixirs may change it a little though, if they work how they did in D1.

Mmm.. there was also a Minor Health Rune (on the bridge with the Ancient Medallion).
Elixirs can work differently, for example they can only raise your strength for a short period of time, like in most other RPGs
lol, sorry about the link i had in it. i didnt want to not give credit to them then have them get upset at this site. oh well, lesson learned. and the lesson is? screw the competition

He did, in the form of an url. I took out the url. If the name of the person who compiled the list is given, I'll add it to the first post.
I think the most alarming evidence I see here is the naming of the runes.
Lethality rune? Minor health? What's with that.... I will be very saddened if the whole runeword concept became junked.
And honestly, even if it isn't....who wants a runeword HEALTH + HEALTH + LETHALITY + WILLPOWER. It's just retarded sounding. =P I want my El Sol Dol Lo, and Amn Ral Mal Ist Ohm. Of course, I'm completely open to new rune names, but they definitely sound extremely bland at this point.
