View Full Version : Advanced Trading Options
The Pitch: instead of trading with one person, showing them your items, then figuring out who wants what, i'v been thinking...what if we could be vendors in certain "trade oriented" areas of the game, or even at anytime within the game? Lets say you have 5 items for trade. Put those 5 items in a certain window that numerous players can look at, at any given time your online. Then decide from there (via pm or wisper) how the trade will progress. I dunno, I just thought something along these lines would be pretty cool to experiment with. Maybe when we place a cursor over another player we could be given the option to view their for sale items:scratchchin:
You're thinking kinda small - realm-wide ingame 'auction house' complete with search function and item filters, anyone?

I think they should keep trading with the trade channels. I love to trade that way...

Aside from a realm wide auction, this is what I think based on KillJOi's... base.
It's called a community trade, and it is one of the options when you create a game on the realms. You type game name, leave password blank, and click "Trade game" or something. When you get to the game you can either wait around by your stash like an afk loser, or you can enter the trade arena or community trade table. From the moment you enter the table your stuff become safetyd, like it does in d2 trades (you know how your gear re-equips when you leave). From there you can view other people's offers and search for trades. More than one person could trade with you at a time, and you wouldn't have to wait for them to click "ok" to trade with you.
