What are your ideas for the Collector's edition of D3 ( and you know there will be one)?

I'd like to see a DVD/booklet on the making of D3 - toolsets used, plot lines thrown out, etc. It might be interesting to see what went on behind the scenes to get this game made...

Toss in an elexir of dexterity and/or book of firebolt in the box. That would be cool.

Maybe a cloth map?

I would like a Doombringer or Grandfather Sword done up as a letter opener. That would be cool, as well as the obligatory Art Book/ Music CD/ Making of DVD. A map would be alright, but I would like to see Cain's Journal done up proper to read through.

Tyrael mini-figure would be cool since he seems to be an important part of the story (for good or bad). Yes the art book/ music cd/ making dvd are musts. The letter opener idea would be nice too.

The letter opener is cool but I doubt it will happen. I don't see Blizzard selling a game with sharp objects inside to children. It can be used as a small knife, like it or not.
The Tyreal figurine rocks- just make sure it's made of metal and in color or something...
the one in Nightfall(guildwars) is a cardboard 2d one... that's like... insulting.

A booklet of bestiary... or a journal from a surviver of Tristram...?

A little Horadric cube?

Dunno, stuff to make it all shiny and nice

Ummm...Is the game not "M" rated? Why should Blizzard be worried about children getting their hands on sharp objects. Children should not be buying the game, so that is a moot point.

Making of DVD/artbook/soundtrack cd/I like the idea of Cain's journal/map(not that great though)/and maybe a collector's in-game exclusive. Perhaps a collector's edition class that is the ultimate class, in which I can pwn every other person that didn't fork out the extra 30 or 40 bucks. I think that would definitely be the selling point. You deserve to be smite for not paying as much as I did!

Map, art, music CD, Making of, history of Diablo series, free marine doll when starting a character based on Starcraft.

Even though Diablo III is by FAR the game I have anticipated (will) the most, I don't believe a "collector's" edition will make my life any better. Crappy stuff just to nag your friends that you have a real "collector" edition, not worth it on any game IMO. Some nice stuff on DVD? I've got Youtube, stop kidding, if I ever start a collection of anything in my life I'd tell everyone to call me an asshole.

Why is this even called a collector's edition if there is nothing to collect? You've got all the collection for just having that! Oh, you wanna sell it on ebay and add R@RE L@@K tags all over the auction name? These are for assholes, I pass.

I think there should be an additional section of the game that pays homage to Diablo 1. Maybe a recreation of the original dungeon, that you can play through as the five new classes. It wouldn't have to be particularly challenging, just sort of an interesting new take on the visuals that you can play as a mini-game.

Asshole.

Everyone collects something, like it or not.

Also I want a Horadric Cube!

The question is not what I want in the collector's edition.

I want the Diablo3 game inside a Horadric Cube!

That'd be a really cool idea.

I'd be good with a Diablo pewter figure.

Maybe a cloth map?

I like this idea the most so far, although I never buy collector's editions so it won't be an issue for me. A clothe map does sound nice though... :scratchchin:
