My idea for a new item type
An item that gains a random affix every few levels,this affix if repeated would add to whats already there a bit like the grinding/Fools affixs in D2.It could go something like this:
Earth ring
Clevel 1:
+1 Str
Clevel 10:
+1 Str
+2 Dex
Clevel 20:
+1 Str
+2 Dex
+50 life
Clevel 30:
+8 Str
+2 Dex
+50 life
Clevel 40:
+8 Str
+2 Dex
+50 life
+20% enhanced damage
Basically higher levels would unlock new affixes into the roll.All affixes could be rolled on item creation and then revealed as you level up(and come into effect).OR the affixes are preset, less like a rare item and more like a unique or set item which might be more simple but make your char less unique(and the former would make you more unique).
Although this item type might not make an appearence I can imagine new item types appearing just like D2 and then the expansion did.
