Please, oh please, Blizzard, make a high level spell *look* cooler than a low-level spell. Anyone here remember the old arcade game Golden Axe? If a spell rains fire from the sky, I want one puny flame coming down from a level 1 spell and a whole flood of fire coming down from a super high level spell. Please.....

I'd agree with you on that, perhaps make little level 1 Fireballs look like d2 firebolts, and the higher level ones be behemoths ^^. Although it is quite a small detail.
