Someone must have anger issues to do something like that.

Nah, its pretty easy to do something like this. And you just have to let the prog run, no need to be at the PC or pay attention to it. Though I wonder why he is doing it. For fun or to prove something?

If this keeps up he will make the 4k for sure. :D
I wonder how much work it is to clean that crap...

edit:
Mods are cleaning up now. :P

I don't think they do clean them up... I was there about a month ago, and there were just pages and pages of spam after the first page of the forum... All untouched..

There were 3500 pages of spam, now all of it is gone but they still haven't banned the dude so his "spam-bot" is still in action. ;)

edit: Finally done. Took them long enough...

The mods over at Bnet really do suck. I wonder if they even care about those forums anymore..

It's not the mods. It's the crappy forums. They really need to update them.

Spamming exploit is the problem (well the spammer is, but fixing idiocy is kind of difficult).

I don't think they do. I mean the forum software itself is some of the worst I've ever seen.

They're just treading water at this point, using whatever antiquated tools they have at their disposal. The new battle.net, which will apparently debut with the SC2 beta (early/middle next year?) will have a lot of updated features for battle.net and for their web forums. That's the plan, anyway.

Has anyone ever really used the b.net forums? I've never been able to get into them even years ago, before they had such spamming problems. There were just so many crazy, clueless fan boys I couldn't find any worthwhile conversation. I don't think more mods would help, unless they just banned like, half the random people who showed up to complain and vent. That's just how it goes with official site forums for very popular games; you get every casual fan who knows nothing, is pissed, and doesn't much care to learn.

Ever been to Bethsofts forum? No flamewar, no trolling, only intelligent discussions. How? The mods are very strict and Bethsoft does not hire mods, they use long time forum members. Blizzard only hires CMs and moderating is just one part of their job. They are not as active on the forum.

Too bad there is only 107 pages of spam, rest may have been deleted

Bethsoft also censors criticism of their games and is full of drooling fanboys who think they can do no wrong.

The fact that Diablo fanboys actually thought fit to pull Blizzard up about the colour palette, whether justified or not, was rather refreshing.

Choice between Battle.net forums and Bethesda's forums? Battle.net any day.

Pics or it didn't happen. I am an active modders since beginning 2006 and didn't notice any censoring. Except one occasion of the legally bindings of EULA/TOS. And that did not involve any deletion of posts.

Drooling fanboys? Are you kidding? How more fanatic can you be then creating a fake petition and slap it in Blizzards face? I lol'ed heartily.
