reptilian class???? any takers

How sweet would it be to have a reptilian class with a skill tree breakdown of toxin/nature casts....summon snake or w/e else....and then shapeshift into some reptilian being or something.

Basically replacin D2 druid w/ something a lil more pimp and sinister

There are swamp land and marshland already on the world map so why not have it be someone native of there

Idk about you guys but this kinda class would just be absolutely amazing for me :D:D:D

That sounds more like a species than a class.
For example, there could be a reptilan wich doctor. His species group is reptile and his class is wich doctor.

That said, I don't think that other playable species than angel, demon, human have a place in the diablo world. It is all about angels vs demons, and the humans being the mix between the two.
Of course this could change, but I would not like it.

Yeah, I don't think I'd like the idea of another species. Pets, like a tamer of some description would be different.

I think it would be a little out of place for the world of sanctuary. Lets not make things more complicated by adding other species...

I never said it wouldn't be a human class it would just be that they would be highly focused in the whole reptilian aspect, say wearing snake skin and being able to shapeshift into such, its basically just a druid only that repitile/vile side of nature persay

You basically mean another variant of the druid/shapeshifter class.

But yes, if there is going to be a shapeshifter. Focusing on reptiles is indeed something different than the old boring werewolf and bear.

Yea exactly now you see that picture im envisioning, then this would also keep the poison aspect that necros brought into d2 b/c as of now i dont see a necro coming back, even though i would really like to, instead this could protentially be a mass summon class but i think it would be a lot weaker and more just to distract while you deal a majority of the damage

the snake shapeshift / summon idea is great. I am a taker ONLY IF that class was somehow incorperated (SP) into the story. A class like that almost can't just come out of nowhere.
