View Full Version : Which Diablo 2 Class will not be in Diablo 3?

I doubt that we gonna see Assisan or Druid class, so i won't put those poll, blizzard said they still gonna had Necromancer, despite Witch Doctor share so many similar skill, other class except amazon are way more popular than Necromander (sorc, pall) so you decide in the poll.

Man, I was gonna choose Druid :( Anyway, I went for Nec. The WD's Mass Confuse spell put a similar graphic over the enemies' heads just like Nec curses used to do. Also, there's going to be several summons available to the Witch Doctor. In D2, there was only one char at release that relied substantially on summons (zon had Valkyrie but it was more of a tank than DD), so I think similarly the WD will be the only one with that position in D2.

None of them will show up in D3 vanilla.

Are you saying that Blizzard has said they will still have the Necro? Can you show me where they have made that announcement?


EDIT: I am considering closing this one, since the poll Flux posted pretty much covers this. If you can convince me to keep this one open, then go ahead.

If found somewhere in the Blizzard news article, i think in the annoucement.

AFAIK, they said he might still be in the game. That includes NPCs. ;) I doubt he will be playable.

Agree - I choose option "F" => A B C & D all true, E makes no sense :)

lol yeah the poll is pretty awful. I think most of the choices are a pretty safe bet. Except for E which is just jibberish.

Though if I had to guess which one is the most likely to return it would be the sorc. I think it's safe to assume we'll get a casting type character. While they could easily make a new class for the caster they could just as easily bring back a sorc class.

Amazon is almost 100% out since there are no male amazons and you get to choose the sex of your character in D3. So, that's probably the best bet for a character who won't return.
