Hello everyone,

I don't believe there is a thread for posting such games, so let me start one. I have a sorc at lvl 10 I think somewhere in Act 1 Normal in 1.09d. I want to Mat her, or at least finish NM, so that I can run Meph for Ravenbazooka and Azurewrath. If I ever decide to do HF rushes, she'd be the one teleporting, too.

I'd be way more fun & easier if I could do it with some other people, since untwinked sorcs can be a pain. I'd be happy to host. If anyone is interested at all, please post here. I could start a game 3.5 hours after the timestamp of this post.

Also: Could someone clarify for me if it's allowed to MP 1.09b with 1.09d, or not?

in the 1.09 days it was common for those with PCs to play 1.09b for the players64 and for ctc to work.

added: didn't really seem to directly answer your question. in the 1.09 days there was no distinction made between the different versions of 1.09

Don't really understand what you mean by this? I'm playing 1.09b and I'm interested in MPing... you're are saying its ok for me to mp with a 1.09d person?

I have a myriad of items and characters in 1.09 <something>. Since its been over a year since I've looked at D2 I have no idea if its a/b/c/d, but there's a very high chance (I'd say 87%) its just 1.09a since I have a 1.09b backup folder which is empty, and none for 1.09c or 1.09d.

Also, as far as the game concerns, there is no in game distinction between a/b/c/d since back in those days everybody was free to join any "version" of 1.09a to 1.09d to 1.09b to 1.09c and back again. The only real difference in them are slight bug fixes, such as % chance to cast a spell when stuck working properly.
