I suppose D is your cd-rom letter. If this is the case i would first suggest to try installing a couple more times.

If the same error appears i have to ask you how old is that cd:if it is old and/or used a lot in the cd-rom drive as your play disc then it may be scratched/damaged and the computer can't read from it.

The only solution is to find another cd to install from.

There are several options that would still allow you to play on bnet but i doubt it that this forums permits me to talk about this kind of stuff.

The downside about this is that my cd-rom is named "E:", so i really don't have a clue on what this error is talking about.

and this cd is just 1 day old. so it's rather impossible for it to be scratch.

i tried to put the cd in another CPU, and didn't get the error, i've made a lot of cleaning up, defragmentation and scanning on this PC, but the error persists. i've already sent a letter about this problem to blizzard but as impatient as i am, i just can't sit here and wait. ^_^

thanks for Helping dude, i'll consider exchanging this cd from where i bought them.

THANKS.

Really strange...I suppose d:/d2 is where you wanted to install diablo.

I say strange because there is no directory tools in a diablo 2 normal instalation directory.

Btw if d is your hard-drive then there is no problem with the cd-rom.
How about calling them on the phone in case they have that sort of service in your country(in mine they don't)

I was so desperate, i tried locating the Script.cpp:92 on the web, but i really don't have an idea on what this computer needs. ^_^ haaayzzz.

i'm from the philippines so, if i call, i'd be paying long distance pay, now that i think about it, am not that desperate after all. ^_^
