I voted Wounded Townsman, cos he only bothers you the once.

Adria, OTOH - if I hear her say "I sense a smell in search of deleted" one more time I think I will completely freak.

I was tempted to vote Gillian, but I decided it had to be someone that you actually wanted to talk to in the game.

Adria's out (She can't even give you a free mana fill-up for dragging your bones ALL THE WAY out to her shack every time?

Wirt is out for similar reasons - he's way out there, he charges you to see his stuff, and usually it's like a "Godly Cap of Ages". Thanks, there Wirt.

Pepin doesn't even register - it's like going to the gas station. Which leaves Griswold and Cain. Cain loses points for charging me to ID stuff, but gains points for being my rock of continuity and source of folksy wisdom. Griswold gains points for being my go-to guy always but loses points for allowing himself to die, turn into a zombie, and attack me in D2. So, edge to Cain for being tough enough to be the only Tristram survivor and for not trying to eat my brains.

Pepin, even though I never go to him, he's the only one who doesn't charge for what he does :P (I never go to him because i haven't played anything else then a mage yet, and when i go to town, i usually go to adria, or adria and cain/griswold... no need to heal with mana shield :P)

Too bad dead townsman wasn't an option. They always have some sort of treasure on them.

Griswold all the way. Who else keeps your stuff in tip-top shape, and sells you the things you need to survive?

Although Farnham is amusing sometimes.
