I was wondering if there still is a Scanner program for the newest patch, it was really nice knowing if the players in your game hacked their characters or had hacked items :)

I completely forgot about those! =D Here is a link that should help you out :) Could also be very useful or at least interesting in Multiplayer, just to see what cool stuff your friends found

I hope scanner utilities are not considered to be hacks or means of cheating since they don't give you any kind of advantage over other players..

You can use scanners but when you read Blizzard's ToS you cannot use them. However... I never heard someone is being banned for using a scanner.

Since D1 is not cdkey based would they able to do any ban other then IP???
Is there an English verison?? There webpage does not seem to work anymore. I use an old scanner pre 1.09 but it seems to work fine, just wanted to try another.

I had to take down the link, since 1) we don't have any idea if it's a safe program or a trojan, and 2) that site had tons of hacks and cheats and other programs we do not support and that violate the ToS and EULA. Sorry. I'm sure googling for d2 scanner will find you similar results.

One is called DiabloSaver. It's not foolproof but it works for most intents and purposes. It also has NOCD features in it as long as you copy the proper files (diabdat.mpq) no more freezes during Butcher/Lazerus.
