Am I banned?

I was playing on D2 LoD and joined a game, it failed to connect and i got impatient and alt+f4 , after i tried logging on it said "unable to connect - cdkey is currently being used by *my name* . and it said wait 5 minutes or so.. so i wait 5 mins and i keep trying to log on but it says the same thing over and over again. what do i do now?! its been an hour and i still cant log on, i dont know if i banned for something or what happen. HELP

This isn't the right forum for this type of questions. Better place would be for example community or newcomer forum.

Anyway. What happened is that you force exited the game. Sometimes when you do that, the game doesn't exit as supposed to and is still active in the background. That's why the second instance of the game still thinks you are logged in somewhere else with the same key.

To solve it, you simply do the following:
-First close any instance of D2 you have open.
-Press ctrl+alt+delete.
-Under the tab 'processes', find the 'game.exe' process. This is the game that shouldn't be open and is running in the background.
-Click it and chose 'exit process' (not sure about the word exit. quit? close? shut down? using swedish version of windows...)
-Everything should be okay now.

If this for some reason won't work, a reboot of your computer always solves this problem. :thumbsup:
