Why is it...

That my user name and pass on the Hellgate Board is valid for the Hellgate Wiki and that my user name and pass for the WWN baord is valid for the WWN Wiki (and wowdigger and the ui site) but that my user name and pass here are not valid for the Diii.net Wiki?

the database for these forums and diablowiki.net are different. We had to split them off when we set up the wiki on its own domain name, unfortunately. Also, the D1/D2 and D3 wikis there are separate, which is less convenient and we've been working on a hack to integrate them.

Happily, registering is quick and easy. ;)

Indeed! There are positive and negative things about this. A good thing is that we might be able to "lure" in more wiki editing fans that we would have with the wiki on the diii.net domain, on the other hand, it makes the user database harder to deal with.
