Has anyone played the Bard and/or Barbarian enough to comment authoritatively on their strategy? I have not, and as the D1/HF wiki nears completion, I'm looking for some insight into play strategy for those two. (And comments on the other chars as well, but I've played enough sorc, rogue, warrior, and monk to do those pages adequately.)

the rogue page (http://diablo2.diablowiki.net/D1_Rogue) is (more or less) finished now, so take a look at it and if you can provide similar general strategy for the hellfire bard and barbarian, feel free. Make the pages in the wiki or just post some comments in this thread, and I'll integrate them in when I put together the other pages. These aren't detailed strategy guides, so no need to get into character builds and dream equipment and all that kind of stuff (at least not in the wiki; i'm sure people would appreciate if it in forum posts here, though).

You have failed me. All of you. Collectively.

All of the character pages are up now, and the Rogue/Warrior/Sorc/Monk are pretty robust on the strategy. Perhaps too much, for a wiki article. The Bard and Barb are less detailed, but I distilled down the interesting tidbits and advice I found on various websites; most of them last updated during the Clinton Administration.

Inspired by the research I did, I started a Barbarian. I'll post about him separately.

Sorry; though I own Hellfire, I have never played it. :p

Hehe the Clinton Administration made me laugh :)

I'm not into Hellfire, but I'm finding the D1 wiki and especially Rogue section very helpful while playing D1 vanilla on b.net. Not too detailed for me! :)
