Here's a start:

I'm at work now, but will be home later. Anyone interested in celebrating the new year by staying up to ridiculous hours playing DII? I'm thinking either Baal runs, or maybe new characters. I'm in California, BTW, and may be able to host. (I haven't in quite a long time, but am now on a superfast fiber optic network, so hope for no lag.)

Basically rushing some sorc through hell to the hellforge. If you'd like to come along feel free to join in. Starting in act 1, they will be rushed with my newly levelled hammerdin lvl 93 --hooray!!--. I'll be doing it twice, once for each sorc then probably starting a new character later on depending on time. So the game will be up for another 8 hours with a large break for dinner in about 3 hours roughly from this post. There will be other breaks of course.

So just jump in if you like and find out how things are going. Its meant to be quick, no messing around. If you'd like to help with the rushing that would be welcome too. Cheers, and happy new year all!

:gameup: @ 122.148.194.66 Sitting in act 3 hell, will commence in 10 mins to act 4 then 10 min break then new characters act 1 normal. So lets say 1 hour and new characters in normal. I will be starting a zeal/conviction pally, there will also be my enchantress to enchant all that join. Caution, i suffer from time-out gremlins. Damn ISP imo. Thanks Starloader, sorry I can't do anything about those damn time-outs.

Celebrating the release of my first Gul from the hellforge. That 2 excellent achievements in 1 day (levelled a hammer to 93). What a great start to the new year feels like it can only go down hill from here. :) Game will be up in 30 mins, just equipping new character.

I can host normally but I'll be frank I was going to bring Atil and I'm not going to risk tele'ing the throne on here half way to 97 in an MP game. My teleing skills suck at the best of time. On a map I know, fine .... MP no. :D

GlennDansig220 - are you aware of how we determine mod status? Have you read the accepted gameplay rules in the FAQ?

If you MP with modded people, you are counted as modded whether or not you have them installed? So whatever character you have in that game, they and anything they find are counted as rwm/rrm.

We killed D at /p8 in ten seconds flat, and managed to get Tal, Ral and Amn outside of the rune quest in A5. We just rescued Anya.

2) are you playing HC << reading your post history I believe so
3) have you sorted out your router/firewall << including that git that is the windows firewall

Once those three things have been confirmed, you shouldn't have an issue connecting.

1/2/3 are all fine, I think that the game switched to the Hamachi host like 1/128th of a second before I tried to join. Bummer, bummer, bummer. Thanks for the help though.

sorry we missed you. if you dont have hamachi then read up about it. we switched hosts so we could get rewards for the hell forge then we left it on my server for NM.

we are playing again next week, if you have a HC chr in act 1 or 2 of NM, untwinked then youd be welcome to join us.

Thanks to Eternal and Dune for another great night of HC action.

Rescued Cain in NM and got a Eld from Countess. Our RWs are really coming along though.

Skype really adds to the teamwork aspect of it, and we almost had an NDE for the first time in a month (four sessions).

Note to self: Never again set off a fire shrine while being mobbed by a bosspack, with negative resists.

@SilvioDante: If you want to join our little (mainly) HC Hamachi network, PM me and I'll send you the details. We play every Tuesday around 6-7 GMT.

hello, welcome to the forum. first make sure you read all the stickied rules. there is a sticky in this forum all about hamachi.

make a proper intro thread in the single player forum telling us about your play style, what mods you use, best drops, your favourite chrs anything diablo related, before you join games. we are a bit wary of new faces but once you settle in we are friendly enough.

once you have done all that pm Fast Eddie and he'll decide if you are worthy to join our secret society, (bribery helps if you can figure out FE's soft spot) ;)

Very nice game. It was a bit difficult to catch up levels in the first half of A1, but I made it in the end. It was strange how Dune, Eternal and I all made barbs after missing one in our Tuesday night games.

Also nice to play with Silvio (what a character!) and pwangsta (sp?).

Well Dune, Thyiad and I just rushed the resident HC-er Eternal to SC Hell Baal's. L34 to L65ish in 3hrs. Hopefully the free equipment will help you survive some SC MP Baal runs and make some new fwemds!

The Skype thing is once again awesome, and four English IPs also helped, despite Dune's router problems and Eternal's hilarious accent :P My language gets a lot more colourful when I drink... But then the air had been blue all day really...

Looking forward to HC untwinked Tuesday, and hopefully Pijus and Thyiad joining myself, Dune and Eternal on Hamachi.
