Some Diablo art that I made a little while ago, bringing it to these forums thanks to HolyKnight3000 encouraging me to do so on DA. :)
The Tyrael work was done by me and the Rogue Camp scene was done by me and my bud.

I am not sure how to post them as pictures, so here are the DeviantArt links to all of the pictures. Click on the picture itself to expand it, or click "Download" on the left side to be redirected to the original fullsize image.
(PS. I actually recommend you consider creating a DA account if you haven't already, it's a great place to get your work shown to people.)

Tyrael One (http://gavinunit.deviantart.com/art/They-Shall-Tremble-97786868)
Tyrael Two (http://gavinunit.deviantart.com/art/And-The-Heavens-Shall-Tremble-90802556)
Tyrael Three (http://gavinunit.deviantart.com/art/And-the-Heavens-Shall-Trem-BG-94810087)
Rogue Camp One (http://gavinunit.deviantart.com/art/No-Sanctuary-99728327)
Rogue Camp Two (http://gavinunit.deviantart.com/art/No-Sanctuary-4-115436915)
Rogue Camp Three (http://gavinunit.deviantart.com/art/No-Sanctuary-3-115436759)
Rogue Camp Four (http://gavinunit.deviantart.com/art/No-Sanctuary-2-115436516)

Both were made in Maya 6.5+ with afterwork done in Photoshop CS2. All models and textures are made by me and my bud from scratch, with various things taken from official Diablo III backgrounds to make up the various texts and the Sanctuary map. I can make more renders, wireframes, brief process as to how they were made if it is requested enough.

Comments/suggestions are GREATLY appreciated, as they help my work (and me) develop!

Thanks!

That is really cool. The Tyrael model as well as the rogue camp are really nice. I like how a proper 3D feel of the camp makes you feel like you were there in the flesh!

Anyway, regarding the images, just use the tag. Just place the url of the image file between the two BBCode tags, and it will show up. Please use pics smaller than 600px or so, or it will be slow load, and distort the forum window.

I would strongly recommend to do what HK and Delowyn does, and to just upload the images to the wallpaper gallery (http://www.diii.net/gallery/uploadphoto.php?cat=550) (or the fan art gallery (http://www.diii.net/gallery/uploadphoto.php?cat=503)), and then link in the images from there.

I also suggest adding a regular link to the page of the image, so people can see it larger, and also make comments!

Edit:
Oh, you already uploaded them! I took the liberty of having them added to your original post =)

Just "quote" your post, and look in the BBCode how I have coded it below, and repeat that for all images.

I also suggest you name the file names different before upload, just in case you want them picked up in google image searches etc =) A logical naming describing the image does the trick!

I have two questions for you GavinUnit:
- How long did it take you to create the Rogue Camp?
- Are you planning to do another one (Lut Gholein for example)?

Hey thanks for the image uploading help :) I really appreciate it! I'll go through and do proper naming of the images now that you brought it to my attention. I guess I was just eager to get them up here :/

Thanks for the comments, It's great to see people are enjoying them!

Mikeztarp - Me and my friend did it during our "animation" class in school. It took a good month or so, but working on it for only one class a day made it difficult to get into a flow where you can start getting things done quickly, which was unfortunate. Also, with things like this it was as much of a learning experience as it was fun, because during the creation lots of things came up that we need to try to figure out a way to solve. So if anyone has been considering doing a big project, but has been put off by the scale of said project, I say just tackle it head on and take things one step at a time, because in the end the pieces start to fall into place themselves.

As a matter of fact me and my bud are. I was busy with another friend working on making a scene from Windwaker for a final project, but now we're done that and as of TODAY work on Lut Gholein has begun :)

This is really neat! Instantly recognizable. The first thing I did was look for the Stash. haha! Nice.

Yeh we're working on A2 right now. It's going fairly slow at the moment, but it will be done soon enough.

AHG!
Was about 75% done Act 2. School servers crashed and everything is now lost. I had just gotten all of my work organized so that I could plop it on my drive and take it home but I guess I was too slow. About 95% of my portfolio work is now gone into the abyss.
I wouldn't count on us starting it over again. Sorry :(
****ty week.
